Excel - Basic

Workshop Description:

Introductory course to the Microsoft Excel program. In this course you will learn the concepts and tools of the spreadsheet program. The student will know the tools that the Ribbon contains. You will gain useful knowledge when making a spreadsheet.

General Objective

  • It will define the concept of Microsoft Excel.
  • You will learn the basics of Microsoft Excel.
  • You will learn how to open and close the program.
  • You will recognize the difference between a blank sheet and a patterned sheet.
  • You will identify the components of the screen.
  • You will learn about the different types of pointers in Excel.
  • You will be introduced to the Ribbon interface.
  • You will create basic formulas.

Workshop Procedures

Educational materials will be sent to the participants, which consist of a guide presentation made in PowerPoint and a folder with practical exercises, which will be discussed during the workshop. They will be sent by email, directly to the participants. Before starting the training, an email will be sent with the link to access the pre-test form and then the same procedure will be followed to carry out the post-test.
