Descripción: The goal of the University of PUerto Rico at Cayey Undergraduate-RISE program is to develop a diverse pool of undergraduates who complete their baccalaureate degree, and transition into and complete biomedical, research-focused higher degree programs (PhD)
Objective 1: To strengthen science identity and broaden exposure to biomedical science careers
Objective 2: To enhance scientific information literacy, learning, and research
Objective 3: To engage students in initiating, conducting, interpreting, and presenting rigorous and reproducible biomedical research
Objective 4: To enhance quantitative and computational skills
Objective 5: To enhance teaching, mentoring, and learning skills.
