¿A cuáles investigaciones le aplica el CIPSHI?
La UPRRP considera inaceptable y no auspicia ni financia, la realización de investigaciones sin la correspondiente revisión y autorización del Comité Institucional para la Protección de los Seres Humanos en la Investigación (CIPSHI), que es la Junta de Revisión Institucional (JRI) o Institutional Review Board (IRB) del Recinto o del Decanato de Estudios Graduados e Investigación (DEGI).
Esta revisión y autorización es obligatoria si la investigación involucra a seres humanos como participantes o sujetos de la investigación y:
- está financiada por la UPRRP;
- se lleva a cabo por o bajo la dirección de cualquier profesor, investigador, estudiante, empleado o agente de la UPRRP, independientemente de la procedencia de los fondos de la investigación;
- los participantes o sujetos son estudiantes o empleados de la UPRRP; o
- conlleva el uso de información sobre sujetos custodiada por la UPRRP.
